Complete the New Light quest, "A Guardian Rises." "A Guardian Rises" teaches you the basics of playing Destiny 2.

Complete "First Contact." "First Contact" can be found on Neptune in the Destinations tab of the Director.

Meet the destination vendor on Neptune. Each freeroam destination has a destination vendor whom Guardians can speak with to gain local bounties, reputation, and rewards. Seek out these experts to gain more details about how you can help at their destination.

Land in Earth's European Dead Zone, otherwise known as the EDZ, and speak with Devrim Kay, located in the belfry of Trostland Church. You can add a waypoint to Devrim Kay on the destination's map. Waypoints show the closest landing zone and will guide you to Devrim when you land.

Complete public events in the EDZ. Public events can be found on the destination's map. You can add a waypoint to a public event to find the closest landing zone. When the public event is completed, a chest of rewards will spawn.

Land on Nessus and meet the eccentric AI, Failsafe, located in the wreckage of the Exodus Black colony ship. You can add a waypoint to Failsafe on the destination's map. Waypoints show the closest landing zone and will guide you to Failsafe when you land.

Complete patrols on Nessus. Every freeroam destination contains patrol missions. Start a patrol mission at a patrol beacon. You can see patrol beacons at a greater distance when you bring out your Ghost by pressing undefined.

Complete Lost Sectors on Nessus. Lost Sectors contain powerful combatants and guard a chest of loot. Defeat the Lost Sector's boss to unlock the chest. Whenever you see the Lost Sector symbol , look nearby for a Lost Sector entrance.

Complete the "Learning Light" quest. The "Learning Light" quest allows you to increase the customizability of your Light subclasses. Continue the "Learning Light" quest in the Cosmodrome.

Purchase Aspects from Ikora Rey. Aspects are powerful ingredients in your Guardian's build. You can purchase Aspects for Light subclasses from Ikora Rey. You can find Ikora Rey at the Bazaar in the Tower.

Purchase Fragments from Ikora Rey. Fragments let you further customize your Guardian's build. You can purchase Fragments for Light subclasses from Ikora Rey. You can find Ikora Rey at the Bazaar in the Tower.

Complete a Light subclass quest from Ikora Rey. Fragments let you further customize your Guardian's build. You can purchase Fragments for Light subclasses from Ikora Rey. You can find Ikora Rey at the Bazaar in the Tower.

Talk to Banshee-44. Banshee-44 can be found in the Courtyard in the Tower.

Collect Glimmer. Glimmer is the currency of the Last City. Spend Glimmer at vendors across the system in exchange for a variety of goods, bounties, and more. Glimmer can be found by defeating combatants, completing bounties, finishing public events, and looting combatant caches.

Collect Legendary Shards. Legendary Shards are found when dismantling Legendary gear. You can exchange Legendary Shards at vendors to receive a variety of goods.

Complete Gunsmith bounties to earn Enhancement Cores.

Purchase weapons from Banshee-44. Banshee-44's inventory of weapons rotates weekly.

Apply shaders to your gear. Shaders allow you to recolor your armor and weapons. You can change the shaders on a piece of gear by looking at the gear's details and then navigating to the appearance screen. You can find new shaders in the world and at the Eververse Bright Dust store.

Equip an Economic or Tracking mod on your Ghost. The Ghost's Economic mod socket can accept mods that boost your acquisition of Glimmer or loot. The Tracking mod socket can accept mods that track caches or resource nodes. Increase the energy of your Ghost to apply more powerful mods.

Complete the Exotic weapon mission "Spark of Hope" to obtain Riskrunner. Exotic weapons provide unique effects and are a critical part of your Guardian's loadout. You can only equip one Exotic weapon at a time. There are many different ways that Exotic weapons can be acquired, including by completing Exotic quests.

Once the Riskrunner catalyst has been obtained, open Riskrunner's weapon details and apply the catalyst to the weapon. Upon completing the catalyst objectives, you will be able to upgrade Riskrunner to Masterwork. Many Exotic weapons have catalysts, which grant new powers to the weapon when completed and applied.

Acquire Vanguard bounties from Commander Zavala. You can find Commander Zavala at the Courtyard in the Tower.

Complete Vanguard Ops. Navigate to the Vanguard destination in the Director and find the Vanguard Ops playlist and launch.

Complete Vanguard bounties in Vanguard Ops. Vanguard bounties are a good source of Vanguard Ops reputation.

Commend other players in Vanguard Ops. You can give other players commendations during the mission summary. You can bring up the mission summary early by pressing undefined during the end-of-mission countdown.

Learn about the Crucible from Lord Shaxx. You can find Lord Shaxx at the Courtyard in the Tower. The Crucible is where Guardians hone their skills by engaging in player vs. player combat.

Learn about Gambit from the Drifter. You can find Drifter at the Annex in the Tower. Gambit is a 4v4 competitive co-op game mode. Collect Motes and bank them to summon a Primeval. First team to destroy their Primeval wins.

Increase the number of Legendary weapons in your collection.

Activate perks from your Seasonal Artifact. Seasonal Artifact perks provide bonuses to your Guardian for the entire Season.

Increase your Power bonus from the Seasonal Artifact. The Power bonus is increased by earning XP.

Equip slot-specific mods on armor. Mods add stats or minor gameplay elements when they're equipped to an active piece of gear. Each armor piece has sockets for general mods, like stat boosts, as well as slot-specific sockets and combat style mods.

Increase the energy level of a piece of armor. Mods have an energy cost to slot into armor. Increasing the energy of a piece of armor enables it to hold additional mods and more effective mods. Fully increasing the energy level of a piece of armor grants it additional stats.

Increase the Masterwork level of a weapon. Increasing the Masterwork level of a weapon grants it an increase to the value of a specific stat. Fully Masterworking it grants additional bonuses.

Acquire Enhancement Prisms. Enhancement Prisms can be obtained through various methods, including the following: • Reputation rank-up rewards • Season Pass rewards • Nightfall activities • Rahool's material exchange

Increase your Power to the soft cap of 1750. There are three different Power caps: soft, powerful, and pinnacle. Before you reach the soft cap, any new gear you acquire may increase your Power.

Complete weekly vendor challenges to acquire powerful rewards. Powerful rewards increase your Power level beyond the soft cap. They are typically granted via weekly vendor challenges, which appear as blue glyphs on the Destinations screen.

Talk to Saint-14 to learn about Trials of Osiris. Saint-14 can be found at the Tower in the Hangar. Trials of Osiris is a weekly tournament where teams of three compete for prestige and rewards. Purchase a Trials Passage from Saint-14 and turn in completed Passages for extra rewards.

Complete the Lightfall campaign.

Increase your vendor reputation with Nimbus in Neomuna. You can increase this vendor's reputation by completing their bounties and quests, participating in public events, and gathering planetary materials in Neomuna.

Complete the weekly Lightfall campaign mission in Neomuna. The Lightfall weekly mission is unlocked by completing the Lightfall campaign on any difficulty.

Increase your reputation with the Vanguard Ops, Crucible, or Gambit vendors. Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit reputation is earned by playing in the relevant playlist and completing playlist bounties. Each Season, there are new rewards for ranking up each vendor.

Activate perks from your Seasonal Artifact. Seasonal Artifact perks provide bonuses to your Guardian for the entire Season.

Increase your Power bonus from the Seasonal Artifact. The Power bonus is increased by earning XP.

Complete Nightfalls while using a subclass that matches the current surge. A Nightfall is an advanced version of a Vanguard strike that includes Champions and other difficulty modifiers indicated when launching the activity. Each day, there are different threat and surge modifiers to the Nightfall. Threats increase damage to you from a damage type. Surges boost damage you deal with a damage type.

Complete Nightfalls and earn Platinum rewards. Defeat all Champions within the Nightfall to earn Platinum rewards.

Stun Unstoppable Champions.  Unstoppable Champions relentlessly attack and take drastically reduced damage. You can stun them, removing their resistance to damage:  when you blind them;  when you shatter them;  when you suspend them;  when you damage them with an ignition;  when you damage them with a weapon granted the  Stagger trait by a Seasonal Artifact perk.

Stun Barrier Champions.  Barrier Champions have nearly unbreakable shields that activate when they have been damaged. You can damage Barrier Champion shields and stun them, preventing their health regeneration:  when you are radiant;  when you have volatile rounds on your weapon;  when you have unraveling rounds on your weapon;  when you damage them with a weapon granted the  Pierce trait by a Seasonal Artifact perk.

Stun Overload Champions.  Overload Champions move quickly and use their abilities frequently. You can stun them, preventing their health regeneration:  when you suppress them;  when you slow them;  when you jolt them and trigger the chain lightning effect;  when you damage them with a weapon granted the  Overload trait by a Seasonal Artifact perk.

Increase your commendation score to 200. Earn a commendation score by receiving commendations from other players.

Complete the Lightfall campaign on Legendary difficulty. On Legendary difficulty, the missions will have a fixed set of modifiers that increase the difficulty of combat but provide better rewards.

Complete the Lightfall campaign on Legendary difficulty.

Claim reputation rewards from Nimbus.

Complete weekly campaign missions from the Lightfall campaign on Legend difficulty and acquire a team score of 100k. Weekly missions are available in the Director on Neptune and have selectable difficulty.

Earn pinnacle rewards by completing weekly vendor challenges from Drifter, Zavala, or Shaxx. View challenge progress by hovering over the respective vendor icon on the Tower map. You must earn pinnacle rewards to acquire gear with Power above the powerful cap. Pinnacle reward sources can be found on the Director and Map screens.

Unlock all Darkness subclasses. Stasis is unlocked during the Beyond Light campaign and Strand is unlocked during the Lightfall campaign.

Collect Stasis Fragments. Stasis Fragments can be earned via quests from the Exo Stranger once the Beyond Light campaign has been completed.
